Cast iron.
The pig iron is designed for further use in the iron foundry in production of castings.
Depending on designation, it is manufactured in such grades as Л1, Л2, Л3, Л4, Л5, Л6 as well as in magnezium-refined grades ЛР1, ЛР2, ЛР3, ЛР4, ЛР5, ЛР6.
Cold pig iron is designed for further conversion to steel in iron foundries during production of castings.
According to its designation, cold pig iron is manufactured in following grades: П1 & П2 grades for steelmaking, ПЛ1 и ПЛ2 grades for foundry production, ПФ1, ПФ2, ПФЗ phosphoric pig iron grades; ПВК1, ПВК2 и ПВКЗ high-quality grades.
Ferroalloys.
A ferroalloy is a master alloy of steel-alloying elements with iron which is used to deoxidize and dope steels and alloys, dope and modify the cast iron.
